Excellent presentation, choice of wines, setup, timing. In depth look at a range of superb recent pinots, discussion, opportunity to retry after food, everyone's viewpoint sought and valued. Have done such sessions with Matthew before, look forward to many more in future. Could not recommend more highly for anyone keen to broaden their experience with fine wine.
I couldn't recommend The Fine Wine Appreciation classes any more highly.
Matthew's classes are the most interactive and enjoyable classes that I have been to. Matthew brings his experience and expertise, but equally importantly, he facilitates the session in a way that involves everyone, and really makes you stop and think about the wines you're tasting.
As well as learning about, and tasting, some wonderful wine, the venue, food and atmosphere makes this an evening I always look forward to.
