This was my first ever class and I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I had such a fantastic time, met some lovely people and learned a lot. Our class was quite specific, concentrating only on Pinot Noirs, which I think was a little less overwhelming and gave us a chance to really focus our pallets and attention.
All in all, a wonderful evening with fantastic wines, a very knowledgeable teacher and an expanded appreciation for Pinot Noirs. I very much look forwards to my next class.
Just attended a Curley Flat vertical tasting ( even years 2016-2006). Once again a great format to show off six marvellous wines and discuss them with other fans. Matthew proved to me that you can age an Australian pinot noir (of sufficient quality). My dilemma - how to exercise the self control with my limited stock to let them age and taste the complexity and beauty of the 2012, 2010 and 2006!
We are definitely drinking our pinot noir too early.
