10 May 2019 • Wine Dinners at Kenzan Japanese Restaurant

The wines selected by Matthew were a perfect accompaniment to the exquisite food at Kenzan. Not a single lull in the dinner conversation and, on top of that, I’m gaining an understanding and appreciation for fine wines. Great night!

Absolutely fantastic evening. Matthew was a great host, really knowledgeable and good fun too. Food and wine exquisite and the company was excellent. I would highly recommend this evening to anyone. Thank you so much.

19 November 2018 • Wine Dinners at Kenzan Japanese Restaurant

This wine dinner is different from the wine appreciation classes in that the theme is on pairing and enjoying good wines with fine food rather than focusing on the nuances and subtleties of the individual wines presented. Kenzan is a long-established and consistent fine-dining Japanese restaurant, a good combination with the chardonnay's and pinots served on the night. Would be even better if the meal was capped with a Japanese desert to go with the sauternes style dessert wine instead of fruits!
